What people say about us

B.N.Kumar
Mr K Subramanyam MSc (Yoga) our Yoga master for well over 9 years. My wife Bhavani and I are both Sr.Citizens .I am 75 and my wife is 66. Before that too, we had a couple of Yoga teachers to introduce to us proper yoga asanas, but nothing worked out on a permanent level for the teachers were otherwise gainfully employed and they would call on us more as a hobby or a passion to assist. Mr Subramanyam became our permanent yoga master since 2014 after being introduced by a good friend who had benefitted from his yoga immensely. Over the years he has helped us tremendously to keep fit and healthy. He is a committed yoga teacher. He combines Yoga with Pranayama which has produced very good result to keep sustaining our health and fitness level. Trust me when we say we have derived Under Master Subramanyam an Improved balance and flexibility with reduced risk of falling, that we find common with Sr citizens around us.! We for one believe that he can help seniors reduce stress and anxiety by teaching them to control their breath and focus on the present moment. Another spin off is his ability to improve lungs function and one's sleep and help in reducing old age niggles like pain in body and muscles through proper breathing techniques.

I am 68 years old. I was suffering from ASTHMA for more than 20 years. Allopathy medication was not yielding desired remedy. Late Dr Krishnamurthy prof of medicine, referred me to YOGA THERAPIST MR SUBRAMANYAM, to learn yoga, to get rid of my asthmatic condition. Since 2008, yoga master taught me, step by step art of breathing and asanas based on my health recovery status. After sincere practice continuously, I realised I was feeling relatively better and slowly my health was improving. Now, I can confidently say YES, I am healthier and my living health condition has considerably improved. The credit of my health recovery from asthma, goes to the teaching of yoga master Subramanyam and also to the grace Swamy Subramania (Lord Muruga)

I'm 57 years old. I'm an avid cyclist. I am also learning to play the flute. In preparation for a cyclothon, I sought Subramanyam’s help to relax my body. I also wanted to improve my breathing to aid my flute training. Subramanyam’s strength lies in customising the routines that cater to the individual’s specific needs while giving due consideration to his present condition and past ailments. I could feel the changes in my body within a few yoga sessions with him.

As a swimmer, and gym enthusiast, I initially saw yoga as just another routine, but his personalized approach transformed my perspective. His tailored sessions have improved my mobility, breathing, and recovery from backpain, seamlessly complementing my training. Thanks to his expertise, I feel stronger, more balanced, and more in tune with my body than ever before. Therapeutic yoga
Therapeutic yoga is a branch of yoga that uses specific yogic techniques for the treatment of people with specific mental and physical conditions. Therapeutic yoga has been in practice in India for thousands of years. Yoga therapy is the application of yogic techniques such as kriyas, asanas, pranayamas, bandhas, mudras and meditation along with proper food habits, a good lifestyle, regular sleeping habits and the right mental attitude. It helps in improving one’s physiological, psychological and spiritual health.
Benefits of Therapeutic Yoga
The autonomic nervous system is divided into the sympathetic system, which is often identified with the fight-or-flight response, and the parasympathetic, which is identified with what's been called the relaxation response. When one does yoga - the deep breathing, the stretching, the reduction in muscle tension, and improvement in the relaxed state of the body - all result in switching the fight-or-flight system OFF and the relaxation response ON. This has a dramatic effect on the body. The heartbeat stabilises, respiration stabilises, and the blood pressure stabilises. The body seizes this opportunity to turn on the healing mechanisms. KSM’s Therapeutic Yoga does just this.
